Hello,
Thoughts whirled in his head, like What happened? Where is everybody? He got up to see the place had been trashed. He smelled something awful. He heard somebody fidgeting about behind a knocked down shelf. He got close enough to see but not so close that the stench killed him. It was the corpse of a human. He backed away in fear and heard something behind him. He spun around and spotted a Balaur (not the character Balaur, one of the other ones) which caught sight of him and sprinted. Jam ran to the door, barely making it outside before being pounced on by the bird. He closed the door and locked it, but it wouldn't be long before the Balaur figured out there was another door. Although it seemed like a weak animal, Jam didn't want to put it's claws and jaws to the test.
He noticed a few guards jogging towards the animal pens. "Where are you going?" called Jam, but there was no response. He decided to tag along with them. Eventually he saw what they were going towards- a tranquilized Carcharodontosaurus. He decided not to interfere with their jobs and watched from behind a maintenance shed. 2 workers put their bags on the floor to prepare supplies, while the other two stood guard. Jam noticed the theropod moving slightly. Then it opened it's eyes. Jam ran out of his hiding to warn them that the tranquilizer effect had gone out, but was interrupted by a loud grunt as the Carcharodontosaurus brought itself up. 1 worker tried to run but met the deadly jaws of the carnivore instead. The others got grabbed their Tranquilizer rifles but the enraged animal had a burst of adrenaline and knocked two workers over as he annihilated the other with it's claws. Only one worker had survived and started sprinting towards Jam. Then he realized he had been frozen watching the animal and took a sprint to the shed. He made it in, signaling the worker. The Carcharodontosaurus was sure to kill the worker, but then the ground shook and the Carcharodontosaurus sniffed the air, then started stomping away from the sound. What could possibly scare such a terrifying animal? Jam thought. The worker collapsed on the floor of the shed. Jam closed the door and saw the worker was speechless. Jam had a small pistol equivalent of a stun rifle already, but grabbed a larger one from the shed. He knew it would come in handy. It was late night already, so Jam fell against the wall and tried to fall asleep. It was going to be a long night.
